The new parents' nightmare has come true -- the memory card on the digital camera is full, and the batteries have run out, and Mom can't find the charger!! The last place she remembers seeing it is in her hospital room. Uh oh... so no images for this posting, but lots to share. Special thank-you's go out to Mom's work friends who showered Owen with gifts this week. Joyce and Val came for a visit on Wednesday afternoon. In addition to their gifts for Owen, they also brought a delicious lasagna dinner for Mom and Dad, and Owen cooperated by sleeping long enough to let them enjoy it! Plus, they brought gifts from Mom's work friends Jane and Judy, along with best wishes from all the co-workers. Perhaps the most touching surprise of all was the gift from Mom's period four Creative Writing class, who sent a hand-made crocheted blanket and a onesie embossed with "Period Four Loves Baby Abrams." This was supposed to be a part of Mom's "Last Day at Work" celebration on March 17, but Owen had different plans!
