We refer to this as Owen's prison, and he rather enjoys his incarceration. Whether rolling around or sitting up straight, Owen loves his teethers and toys. This week, Mom took him to the grocery store, and he sat in the front of the cart for the first time. It took longer to put the seat protector in the cart than it did to get the few items at the store. But what a delight to watch Owen take in all the sights of the store -- all the colors in the produce section made him scream with delight! Last week, he wieghed in at 20 pounds, 2 ounces at his six month check up, not a big weight gain, but he is still at 95th percentile for height (29 inches) and weight. For play, we also give him a sippy cup with handles, just to get him used to it by the time he can drink from it. So far, as with the majority of Owen's toys, it is functioning as a teether!
