How did a month and a half go by between posts? Busy, busy, busy Owen has kept us occupied. After his bout with an illness around Christmas, he got a bit too used to love and snuggling before bedtime. He had to get rocked to sleep all the time... until we decided to Ferberize, and boy were we glad we did! Owen goes down each night between 7 and 8, which leaves us little time to log on, as our computer is in his room. At his ten month check-up, Owen weighed in at 22 pounds, 6 ounces (sat up on the scale this time), and 31 inches. We think he's starting to grow longer than he is heavier. On a recent Sunday outing, he procured this balloon from a party store cashier whom he captivated with his charm. The ride home was fun, albeit hazardous.
