Closing the school year, going on vacation and changing computers has made it tough to keep up with the blog these days. We'll get some new pics up soon (Mom is learning how to upload, store and transfer on the Mac. This one was taken on the computer photo booth itself) but Owen is keeping us on our toes! He loves being at home with Mom for the summer, and we get out each day for a walk or a visit to the grocery store. Instead of two naps, he's down to one right after lunch. This means we can go to morning story time for toddlers at the library each week, which Owen is enjoying. Yesterday, he came with Mom to the doctor to see "the baby in Mommy's belly." And he needs lots of reminders to "be gentle" when it comes to touching Mom's tummy! Animal sounds are his favorite of late. He can imitate the dog, the cat, the cow, the goldfish, the monkey, and -- his favorite -- the chicken! We had the Food Network on the other day, and Ina Garten was cooking chicken. Every time she said the magic word, Owen said "Bu-BOCK!!!!!" Of course, he's shy for audiences, so you'll have to take our word for it...
