What progress! Nicholas is holding his own bottle already... kind of...okay, not really, but one can dream of the day it will happen. Seriously, though, he does have a possessive grip on that bottle, evidence of his healthy appetite so far. He weighed in at 8 pounds, six ounces last Friday at his one week check-up,which means he gained seven ounces since leaving the hospital the previous Sunday morning, a weight gain which the doctor said was "awesome!" He also grew 1/2 an inch, too, measuring 20 1/2 inches. Still, in spite of all these "gains," he seems quite small to us, and we are enjoying our new bundle of joy every day.
