According to Dr. B., we can expect Nicholas' arrival any time now, but an induction is scheduled for later this week. It's hard to believe that this pregnancy is almost at an end -- not that Mom would like it to continue any longer than necessary! But it did not pass us idlely by, that is for sure. Everything is set up in the boys' room -- all the layette that looks so very tiny when we hold it up next to Owen, the basinette, the bouncy seat, the car seat... Bringing it all out of storage reminded us that it is true that babies themselves don't take up much room...but their stuff sure does! But the re-organizing comes at a time of year that is conducive to sorting, purging, cleaning and so on. Sleeping is awfully difficult these days. The physical challenge of it aside, it's also just an exciting time, and the anticipation alone is keeping Mom awake or causing her to wake early. Nicholas will be known as the Reeses baby. Any combination of peanut butter and/or chocolate was a hit! Panera chocolate croissants, cafe mochas, peanut butter and chocolate ice cream, all were on the menu, especially these last few weeks. Hopefully, he won't have an allergy to peanuts or chocolate due to his likely overexposure to them!
