What strong peripheral vision for a near two year-old! Is Owen keeping an eye out for his little brother, or hoping we won't see what he intends to do next? We'll give him the benefit of the doubt. He has finally recovered from the flu, which he got on Christmas Eve. His 105 temperature gave us a scare, but the doctor calmed our nerves and reassured us (!) that Christmas is almost always the time for illness to strike. Of course, he was scheduled to get his flu shot on December 26, but this week will be his first opportunity. By the time he gets to kindergarten, he'll have the strongest immunity in his class, or at least that is our hope...
