Of course, leave it to me to be the last to discover what most moms have known about for a while now ... slow melt popsicles. When my mother in-law served them up to her grandsons at our family's Labor Day Weekend picnic, I was in awe. So, of course, I grabbed a box at the Stop and Shop last week. This week, the temperature has hardly gotten above 70 degrees, but that hasn't stopped me from allowing my children to indulge in the world's smallest popsicles. 3 popsicles have 40 calories, and when I consider that the regularly consume cupcakes and donuts five times that number, I have no guilt about giving them seconds of the little pygmie treats. I only wish I could have given them to them back in June, when my Skinny Cows were the only frozen novelty in stock.
Peter got tooth #2 this week, and the teething has begun. We should buy stock in Tylenol at this point, between the children's Tylenol and the Tylenol PM for me. Nicholas is loving school more than ever, true to my prediction, and Owen is loving his return to school. I'm loving going to the A&P before I pick them up!
