Last Friday was Jason's birthday, and getting to the Hallmark store just wasn't possible, so we made our own card. Each line begins with the letters of HAPPY BIRTHDAY DADDY. When we were finished, the kids colored it. Here it is:
Here’s a poem
About you, Dad, from
Peter, Owen and Nicholas.
Potty trainer, chef, coach, diaper dude and chauffer should all be on
Your job description!
Being yourself
Is what we love you for, (and
Reading us stories, and
Teaching us how to throw, kick and catch.)
Having fun with us
Day after day, you
Always say you love us, and
You never yell unless we are really being bad!
Don’t ever change,
And even though you are one year older, it
Doesn’t matter to us, because
Dad,
You are the best, year after year!
